My little niece is 6 months old now and the time has just flown by. She is just the cutest little baby you have ever seen and she is always smiling. Everyone keeps asking if I’m getting broody and if me and my husband will ever have any more. I already have three children the eldest almost 11 and the youngest 5. We have no plans on having any more kids, but I must admit, when I am holding and looking at little Heidi’s gorgeous face, I do feel a tiny, incy bit broody.
But if I was ever to have another baby I would have to start all again with buying all the items and things that they need, as I got rid of all mine after my third. Just thinking about all the things a baby needs and how much it would cost instantly puts me off having another. Looking after 3 kids costs me enough has it is and with my eldest going up to high school in September, he is wanting all the brand named items. Before I could go and buy him a pair of jog bottoms from primark for just around £3, but now he want’s one that cost around £20, even though they look exactly the same!
The list of thing a baby needs is almost endless
- Pushchair
- Car seat
- Moses basket or cot
- Baby bath
- Clothes
- Nappies
- High chair
- Steriliser
- Bottles
- Changing Mat
- Bibs / a feeding stuff
- Bouncy chair
- Stair gate
- Fire guards
- Safety kits
- Baby monitor
- Toys
And that’s not including all the other smaller items like bottle brushes, dummies, baby wipes etc. So basically I would need a small fortune, if I decided to have another baby. But if you are planning on having a baby any time soon, I suggest you either ask your friends to pass on items they no longer use or take a look at a baby website online4baby that has everything all in one place, free delivery with orders over £50 and has lot’s of special offers and discounts, which can save you some pennies.
